guidoangles.com is operated by Guido Angles, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA (hello@guidoangles.com).

What I collect

  1. Visit statistics. Page viewed, referring site, language, screen size, browser, approximate location derived from your IP address, and your IP address, used to understand site traffic. IP addresses and browser details are deleted after 90 days; the remaining anonymous counts are kept up to two years.
  2. Recruiter access. If you request the private résumé, I collect your name, email and phone number to verify your email and handle your inquiry, and record whether you opened the résumé and its print / save-PDF dialog. This is kept up to 90 days. Your email is shared with Resend, my email delivery provider, only to send you the verification code; your name, email and phone are also sent through Resend to my own inbox as a notification.
  3. The "Like" button stores one like per visitor on the server as a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, without cookies.
  4. Email. If you email me, or use the form for consulting or collaborations (which opens your own email app), I use your message only to reply. My mailbox is hosted by Microsoft 365.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. If you verify as a recruiter, a strictly necessary session cookie keeps the résumé open for up to two hours and is removed when you sign out. Your language choice is saved in your browser's local storage.

Third parties

Pages load resources from Cloudflare (hosting, security and cookieless analytics), OpenStreetMap (map tiles), jsDelivr and unpkg (code libraries), and, for project videos hosted there, YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. These providers receive your IP address as part of normal web requests.

No sale or ads

I do not sell or share personal data for advertising.

Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of your data at hello@guidoangles.com. Visitors in the EU/UK may also object to processing or complain to their data protection authority. Legal basis: legitimate interest (site statistics, security) and steps taken at your request (recruiter access).

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13.
